PROCESS:-                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Rotary swaging is the latest & most econnomical method forming where metal is formed as per requirment through succession of rapid hammer blows.

The result obtained through rotary swaging ensure better grain structure, desired tensile strength & an absolutely uniform surface finish & hardness.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

MACHINE DESCRIPTION :-                                                                                                                                                                                  

The Rotary swagger basically in corporates a spindle driven by electricmotor of suitable capacity through a "v" belt drive, the fly wheel mounted on the spindle acting as a driven pulley. the slots in the spindle head carry the dies & hammers. wear plates are provided on the three sides between die & the spindle slot. The main body houses a pressure ring & roller cage within it. The roller cage carries 10/12 rollers in dia metrically opposite pairs.               

The rotation of the spindle makes the dies & hammers fly apart in the slot due to the centrifugal force. their flight is checked by the roller cage, which try to force the dies & hammers back in position.                                                                                                                                                             

This Force on dies causes the metal under it to be forced to forms according to the forms in the dies.                                                                        The pressure will be released once the hammers pass the rollers & the part can be fed further for the next forming cycle.
