Process Description
A pre-weighed, generally preformed piece of material / compound is placed in the mould : the mould is closed, with the sample under pressure as it vulcanizes Cavity pressure is maintained by slightly over filling the mould & holding it closed in a hydraulic press. Constant heat is provided by electric heatess, thermic fluid or steam depending upon customer application & requirements.
